Jane Moore Announced as New Co-Chair of Council for Marketing and Opinion Research (CMOR) Government Affairs Committee

Washington, D.C.—The Council for Marketing and Opinion Research (CMOR) today announced the election of Jane Moore as incoming Co-Chair of the CMOR Government Affairs Committee. Ms. Moore, currently Vice President of Communication and Compliance for Kantar Operations- North America, will work with co-chair Michael Mermelstein (MKTG, Inc.) to guide the committee’s efforts to monitor legislative, judicial, statutory and regulatory activity; to protect the interests of the research profession, and to educate members of the research profession about relevant legislative, judicial, regulatory and statutory issues.

Ms. Moore has more than 25 years experience managing and directing privacy related matters. She is a highly sought after presenter at industry conferences and committed to finding practical solutions to the ethical and quality issues confronting the marketing research profession. Among her many credentials, Ms. Moore is also a Certified Expert-level Professional Researcher (PRC).

“Now more than at any other time in my 25 years in this business, we need the vigilance of organizations like CMOR to ensure the health of our profession,” said Ms. Moore. “I’m privileged to serve with Michael Mermelstein as Co-Chair of CMOR’s Government Affairs Committee. CMOR also announced the following new members of the GA Committee: Michelle Adams (Director, Consumer Strategy & Insights for Frito Lay); Anne Hedde (President and Group CEO of Lightspeed Research); Robert Baranoff (SVP, Member Benefits for LIMRA International), Kathy Frankovic (Director of Surveys for the Election and Survey Unit of CBS News) and Diane Kosobud (Ipsos).
