Privacy Policy Reviews
Privacy is a major issue respondents are concerned about.
  • Does your company’s Privacy Policy assure respondents and the public you are handling their personal information securely?
  • Does your company’s Privacy Policy comply with federal and state laws?
  • Is your Privacy Policy specifically tailored for your business?

If you are unsure, take advantage of CMOR’s

Details:

There are many legal and ethical requirements and considerations that go into a good Privacy Policy. Experts recommend companies review their Privacy Policy every year. Companies should also seek professional consultation to ensure their policy is up to par. Privacy policies must be as thorough as possible, up to standards, concise, clear and efficient. CMOR was created to specifically assist you in issues such as your privacy policy.

In addition to the legal requirements, understanding what respondents consider private information is vital for continued respondent cooperation. Your Privacy Policy must affirm that your company will safeguard respondent information and handle it appropriately.

What does a Privacy Policy Review from CMOR entail? CMOR’s Government Affairs staff are experts on privacy. They will pore over your current privacy policy (or draft) and will examine every word. CMOR will find any potential gaps, make recommendations and suggest improvements and model language as part of a written report. Essentially, CMOR will walk your company through every step until you have a clear, concise, law abiding (and respondent friendly) final privacy policy. The review process can be finalized within as little as one week.

Why ask CMOR to review your privacy policy?

  • CMOR Staff are privacy specialists.
  • As mentioned, experts recommend you seek professional consultation when writing/reviewing your privacy policy.
  • If a law firm reviewed your policy, it would cost two to three times as much CMOR’s…and there would not be a guarantee that the legal counsel reviewing your policy are privacy experts.

Cost:

CMOR Members: $245
MRA/IMRO/QRCA Members: $360
Nonmembers: $450
